Dr. Marco Antonio To obtained his Ph.D. from Universidad Galileo (Guatemala, 2016) through a collaboration with Telecom SudParis, France. He received his M.Sc. in Telecommunications Management from Oklahoma State University (USA, 2004) after winning a Fulbright/LASPAU scholarship and previously earning his BS in Electronics Engineering (EE), with a Graduate Degree in Computer Networks from Francisco Marroquin University (Guatemala, 2001). At Galileo University, Guatemala, he has been a lecturer in the engineering programs since 2000 and in the Master of Science program since 2005. He co-founded the Telecommunications Engineering program in 2000 and also is the founder of the first Graduate Degree in Network Security (2008). His experience spans 18 years in Information and Communication Technologies in academia and in corporate environments. Currently he directs the Research Laboratory for Information and Communications Technologies (RLICT) at Galileo University. His research interests are wireless communications, next generation Internet  architectures and networking protocols.

Pr. Stephane Maag

Pr. Stephane Maag obtained his PhD degree in Computer Science in 2002 and his Accreditation to Supervise Research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in 2011 from the University Paris Sud XI, France. He was recruited by Telecom SudParis (founding member of the University Paris-Saclay) and joined the CNRS UMR 5157 in 2003. Since 2013, he is a Full Professor at Telecom SudParis in the Validation of Protocols and Systems research team. Since 2012, he is also an Associated Researcher to the RLICT Lab from the Galileo University, Guatemala. His research interests mainly focus on the conformance and interoperability testing of communication systems. The issues studied are linked to the protocol descriptions, testing architectures, test suites generation/execution and active/passive testing techniques. He led and was involved in many collaborative projects with several international research institutes and universities worldwide as well as with industrials (FP6, FP7, CORDIS, ITEA, Systematic, Stic-Asia, etc.). He supervised more than 15 PhD thesis and 25 MSc students. He published several papers (>70) in high ranked international conferences (INFOCOM, ICWS, ASE…) and Journals (ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE/ACM Transaction on Networking, …).
